Venison Baked Beans From Cindy and John NY Brown 1 ½ lb. Ground venison and one chopped onion Add 1 quart pureed canned tomatoes Add 2 cans dark red kidney beans Add 1 can buttered beans Add 1 can Bush’s baked beans Add ½ cup brown sugar Add 2 cups sliced venison ring sausage Bake in a roaster or dutch oven at 375 degrees for one hour May substitute browned bacon for sausage. Makes a mean baked beans.
