Country Fried Venison Steak 1 lb. round steak 1 tsp. salt 1/4 cup flour 1 tbsp. fat 1/2 cup water Salt meat and roll in flour. Brown in fat in a large skillet. Add water; cover and simmer until the meat is tender. Several tablespoons of sweet wine may be added with the water to give a distinctive flavor. Use the drippings for gravy.
