Old South Buttermilk Pie By Mildred Travis

OH this pie is great!!!

Simple pie too!

Ingredients 

1/3 c  butter; softened
1 1/2 c  sugar
2/3 c  buttermilk
1 pn salt
 2 tb flour
2 eggs; beaten
1 ts vanilla extract

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar. 
Add buttermilk, salt, flour, eggs, and vanilla.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. 
Bake about 1 hour at 300 degrees F.

Pie is done when knife inserted in center comes out clean
