Homemade Chocolate Pie 1 Ingredients 1-1/3 cups sugar 3 tbs. flour 3 tbs. cocoa 3 eggs 1 large can evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 unbaked deep dish pie crust 1/2 cup sugar Preparation In a mixing bowl combine sugar, flour, & cocoa. Mix well. Add egg yolks (keep whites for meringue). Gradually add milk stirring until well blended. Add vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake at 350° F for 40 to 45 minutes. Beat egg whites until stiff adding 1/2 cup sugar for meringue. Cover pie with meringue & bake at 400° until lightly browned.
