Taco dip, (or taco salad) By Lois in KY.

1 lb. ground beef
1pk.cream cheese
1pk taco mix
1pk. mexican cheese(or cheddar)
i jar taco salsa(.hot or mild any way you like it. )
brown hambgr. drain, add taco mix.  mix well. 
in oven safe dish, pat the room tempt cream cheese in bottom.of dish.
add hambgr. mix. over cream cheese
pour salsa over hamburger 
sprinkle with the mexican or cheddar cheese.
place in oven at 350* till cheese is melted nice
 
serve with tortilla chips. (or as i like over a bed of lettuce, with tomatoes on top, 
and tortilla crumbled in.mighty good for a hot summer eve.
