Sweet and Sour Meatloaf 1 1/2 pound ground beef 2 cups bread crumbs or oats 1 medium onion, chopped or use some minced onion or onion powder 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 4 oz tomato sauce or ketchup 1 egg, beaten Preheat oven to 350. Lightly mix all ingredients except the sweet and sour sauce. Form into a loaf and bake in a shallow pan for 30 minutes. Mix up the sauce: 4 oz. Tomato sauce or ketchup 2 tablespoons mustard 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoon vinegar ½ cup water Pour sauce on meatloaf and bake an additional 15 minutes. Variations: If you like your meatloaf extra juicy, you can make a little more of the sweet and sour sauce add that to your meatloaf. Just mix these things to the mixture BEFORE you bake it, then follow the directions above.
