Peanut Butter Candy Roll recipe 643 1/2 Cup Water 1/2 Cup white corn syrup 2 Cups sugar 2 egg whites, beaten 1/2 Cup powdered sugar 1/2 Cup peanut butter Cook first 3 ingrediants to 280 degrees over medium heat. In a seperate bowl, have ready the 2 egg white. Pour hot syrup into egg whites very slowly, beating constantly. Mixture will increase in size. Add powdered sugar to help firm up. Beat on high for approx. 5 mins. Have ready a large sheet of waxed paper, buttered and sprinkled with powder sugar. Pour mixture onto paper. Roll out with rolling pin until flat. Spread with as much peanut butter as desired. Cover completely. Roll up into 2 or 3 seperate rolls. Chill for 2 hours or a bit more. Slice into bite sized piecies.
