Cole Slaw 1 small head cabbage 1/4 cup finely grated carrot (optional) 1/2 cup mayonnaise 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup water 1/2 tsp. salt Preparation for the cole slaw Grate or shred the cabbage. Place it in a large bowl. Stir in the grated carrot (optional). Whisk all the other ingredients together in a separate bowl. Pour the mixture over the grated cabbage and stir to mix well. For best taste, refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
