Sweet-Sour Tomato Beef Over Pasta Yield: 4 servings 1/2 pound boneless beef sirloin, about 1 inch thick 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided 2 medium tomatoes, each cut into eight wedges 1/4 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced 6 green onions and tops, cut in 1/2-inch lengths, separating whites from tops 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon Kikkoman Soy Sauce 1/2 cup Kikkoman Sweet & Sour Sauce 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root (Optional) Hot cooked pasta of your favorite pasta type. Cut beef into thin slices, then into 1-inch squares. Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry 1 minute; remove. Heat remaining 1 Tbsp. oil in same pan. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, white parts of green onions and garlic; stir-fry 1 minute. Stir in soy sauce and 2 Tbsp. water; reduce heat and simmer, covered, 5 minutes. Combine sweet & sour sauce, brown sugar and ginger; stir into tomato mixture with green onion tops. Cover and cook 1 minute. Stir in beef. Serve over hot already cooked and drained favorite pasta noodles!
