Brown Sugar Barbecued Chicken Ingredients 1 chicken, broken down into two leg quarters and two breasts 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp black pepper 2 cups ketchup 4 oz. brown sugar 1/2 cup molasses 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup sesame oil 1-2 inch piece ginger, peeled and grated 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp. cumin 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder Directions 1. Heat a charcoal or gas grill to medium low heat. Close the grill to thoroughly preheat the grate. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Season the chicken with the salt and pepper. 2. Combine the next ten ingredients in a stainless steel mixing bowl. Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side. Place in a 9" x 13" casserole dish and baste generously with the sauce. Bake for 20 minutes or until the juices run clear.
