Spicy Honey Applesauce Cake 

1 cup honey 
½ cup butter 
3 eggs, beaten 
1 tsp. vanilla 
1 cup applesauce 
1 tsp. cinnamon 
2 cups flour, sifted 
½ tsp. salt 
1 tsp. baking soda 
½ tsp. nutmeg 
¼ tsp. powdered cloves 
1 cup nuts, chopped 
¼ tsp. powdered ginger 

Cream honey and butter. 
Blend in eggs, vanilla and applesauce. In separate bowl, combine dry ingredients, then stir gradually into creamed mixture. 
Add to a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. 
Bake at 325 degrees for 25-40 minutes. 

Comb Honey Used
Use comb honey (wax & all) in bread recipes. 
Mix comb honey with olive oil & water in blender and use as the liquid in bread recipes.
